What are the benefits of adding personality testing and matching into the hiring process? Hiring and recruiting is the process of removing uncertainty: Is this candidate right for this job?
- You read the candidate's resume/CV to look for relevant experience and training.
- You check the candidate's references to find out more about their background in various positions.
- You interview the candidate to get a personal impression.
This process is very subjective and time consuming. Personality testing does not remove the need for all of this due dilligence, but it does identify, early in the process, which candidates are absolutely not suited for the offered position. This kind of early filtering is called 'Negative Selection'. OTM-Recruit also helps you with 'Positive Selection', ranking matches and giving more detailed information. A special 'Attention Points' report is made for each candidate comparing their results to the needs of the function. This shortens the time needed for the interview and acts as a guide for the recruiter to focus on areas of concern.

This web site and interface are the proof-of-concept for this new technology. The interface is completely operational, the reports and data are reliable, but the main goal of this system is enhance the products of others in the Talent Management industry. We are now working to integrate this matching technology into recruitment systems, temporary worker management suites, yearly evaluation systems, job boards (both internal and external), and employee development programs.
